A special send-off party for Miss is being held for Miss Alabama Outstanding Teen Haley Ates this Saturday, Aug. 2, at 1 p.m. in the Eufaula City Auditorium.
All are invited. Tickets are $5, and all proceeds for the event will go to support Ates’ platform charities, Children’s Miracle Network and Haley’s Handfuls of Hope.
The party is sponsored by the Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen organization and is being coordinated by Miss Painted Rock pageant director Bart Sorrell and friend Teal Traylor.
At the send-off, Haley will be modeling her dresses for the pageant. Her talent and evening gown are being provided by Ann Northington of North Oaks Formals. Her presentation gown is being provided by Andrew’s Bridal Shop in Dothan.
Special entertainment and appearances by Miss Alabama 2008 Amanda Tapley and the top 15 contestants from the Miss Outstanding Teen pageant will be a highlight of the event.
Davis will run for sheriff
