Courtney Lane Powell and Jonathan Kelsie Jennings were united in marriage Saturday, April 19, at 5 p.m. in the Stakely Sanctuary of First Baptist Church in Montgomery. 
Dr. Jay Wolf and Dr. Dale Huff, who had married the bride’s parents, officiated the ceremony. 
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Jack Powell of Montgomery.  She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth C. McAliley and Mr. Jack M. Powell and the late Mrs. Opal Mason Powell, all of Eufaula.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Jerome Kelsie Jennings.
He is the grandson of Mrs. Earleen Ray Harper of Centre, and of Mrs. Imogean Henson Jennings and the late Mr. Silas Kelsie Jennings, formerly of Centre. 
Caroline Elizabeth Powell, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mary Allison Jennings, sister of the groom, of Enterprise; Carrie Edwards Bledsoe and Margaret Whitney Parrish of Montgomery; Britton Denise McClinton, Margaret Elizabeth Montgomery, Meredith Elizabeth Mosley and Mera Priest Price, all of Birmingham; Amy Quick Summerlin of Cane Ridge, Tenn.; and Caroline Cothran Kirkpatrick of Selma. 
Diane Carol McAliley, the bride’s aunt, read scripture.  Elizabeth and Forrest Flemming III were vocalists.
The groom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen included Logan Doyle Powell, brother of the bride, of Montgomery; Philips Brewster Harrington of Gainesville, Fla.; William Stanford Lewis of Atlanta; Gregory Charles Peden of Auburn; Andrew Mitchell Nunn, William Christopher Price and Christopher Joshua Thrash, all of Birmingham; and Nathaniel Austin Silas of Huntsville.
Ushers included Matthew Warren Deavers of Atlanta, Ga., Clayton Stuart Dudley of Birmingham and Rodney Charles Thornton of Enterprise. 
A reception was held at Wynlakes Country Club.  After a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Birmingham.
