Mr. and Mrs. J. Wayne Baker and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald B. Dixon, all of Eufaula, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Betsy Lynne Baker, to Joshua Dale Fredrickson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey D. Fredrickson of Eufaula.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late J.W. Baker, the late Ruby Sue Baker, both of Eufaula, and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Childs of Brundidge.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Fredrickson of Gulf Breeze, Fla. and the late Mrs. Bonnie Fredrickson, the late Mr. Otis W. Cooksey, and Mrs. Margie McDiarmid of Eufaula.
Josh and Betsy reside in Foley. Josh is employed as a manager with Legacy Boating Club in Orange Beach and Betsy is employed at Cutter’s Corner in Foley as a professional hair designer.
The wedding is planned for Sept. 20, at Sandals Whitehouse Resort on the isle of Jamaica.
