Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Madison Upshaw III of Atlanta announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Watson Upshaw, to Samuel Adams Reeves, son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin C. Reeves of Eufaula.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. William Quincy Watson and the late Mrs. Betty Jo Watson of Tampa, Fla., and of Dr. and Mrs. Elbert Madison Upshaw III of Atlanta, Ga.
Lauren is a graduate of the University of Georgia. She is employed with Upshaw Lending Professionals, LLC.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Judge and Mrs. Samuel Kirke Adams of Ozark and of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm McNab Reeves of Eufaula.
He is a graduate of the University of Alabama and works as a Certified Financial Planner with Smith Barney.
The wedding will be Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Peachtree Road United Methodist Church.
