Kasey Gibbs, Russell Bedingfield

Mr. and Mrs. Dennis James Gibbs of Eufaula announce the engagement of their daughter, Kasey Denise Gibbs, to Russell Charles Bedingfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Charles Bedingfield of Dadeville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Glenn S. Benton of Eufaula and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Gibbs of Pensacola, Fla. Miss Gibbs is a graduate of Eufaula High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Troy University where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority.

Kasey is presently employed with Sumter County Schools in Americus, Ga.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Royce Blackmon of Glenwood and the late Robert Neal Bedingfield and Mrs. Betty Bedingfield Hattaway of Opp.

Mr. Bedingfield graduated from Troy University with degrees in physical education and health education. Russ is currently employed with Demopolis City Schools in Demopolis, where he coaches football and baseball.

The wedding will be June 28, at 5:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Eufaula.
