Miss Garrison, Mr. Dorgan to wed

Mary McKenzie Garrison of Eufaula and Edward Dent Garrison of Fort Gaines, Ga. announce the engagement of their daughter, Catherine Garrison, to Dr. Robert Jason Dorgan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Edward Dorgan of Mobile.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and the late Mrs. Robert Downing McKenzie of Georgetown and of Mrs. and the late Mr. Benjamin Franklin Garrison of Eufaula.
Catherine is a graduate of The University of Vermont. She received her master’s in chemistry from Western Carolina University.
She is employed with Chipola College, where she teaches chemistry.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mrs. and the late Mr. Percy Edward Williams of Mobile and of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Alston Dorgan Sr. of Mobile.
He is a graduate of LSU where he received master’s and doctorate degrees in civil engineering. He is employed with Jacobs Technology.
The wedding will be June 21 at 6:30 p.m. at 405 Benjamin Drive.
