On Saturday, July 26 friends honored Tiffany Weaver and John Andrews with a party announcing the couple’s engagement at Shorter Mansion.
The Shorter mansion was beautifully decorated with arrangements from Schaub’s Florist. The foyer table held a lovely tiered vast of Casa Blanca Lilies and pink Lisanthus. On the Dining room table was a large cylinder vast of Miracle Roses, pink Gerber Daises, purple Lisanthus and white Freesia. The tables on the sun porch were decorated with pan vases with floating Miracle Roses.
Guest enjoyed a sumptuous cocktail buffet prepared by Gabe Frankovitch of roast port tenderloin and turkey breast, West Indies salad, assorted sandwiches, dips and spreads. The dessert table featured an overflowing arrangement of fruits, a variety of brownies and lemon aid and iced water were served from matching silver punch bowls.
Among the out of town guest were family members Gerald and Doris Andrews, Barbara Williams and Tom Andrews of Dothan, Gerald and Julie Andrews and children of Albany, Ga., Jim and Hazel Oaks, Aleatha Muldrow and Haley Muldrow of Jacksonville, Fla.
