Davis, Griffin earn school board seats

Jacqueline Davis edged incumbent Murray Warr Tuesday to earn the District 3 seat on the Barbour County Board of Education. Davis received 124 votes compared to Warr’s 110 votes.
In District 5, incumbent Wayne Griffin kept his seat on the board by defeating challenger Mary Hoover Smith 141-78.

A job well done Mr. Warr. You hung in there when the going got tough for Barbour County School System for over 25 years. Well done.
