Logging truck, tractor involved in wreck

This log truck overturned late Monday morning on U.S. Hwy. 431 North near Lakepoint Resort State Park. Two vehicles were involved in the incident.

An accident involving an 18-wheeler carrying logs and a tractor occurred on U.S. Highway 431 north of Lakepoint Resort State Park late Monday morning.
According to reports from the Eufaula Police Department, the truck was coming over a rise and swerved to avoid the slow-moving tractor.
The log truck then turned over, spilling its contents on the roadway. Traffic was rerouted around the accident.
The driver of the log truck was injured and taken to Medical Center Barbour.
The driver of the tractor was unhurt.
