Terrance Harris, 20, of 314 New Fort Browder St. was arrested Friday and charged with robbery first degree, a felony offense.
The charge against Harris stemmed from recent armed robberies that police believe were being committed by a group of three suspects. According to the Eufaula Police Department, Harris is believed to be one of the suspects committing the crimes.
Officers were investigating Harris as a suspect for sometime before apprehending him Friday.
“He (Harris) was carrying a ski mask and was dressed in what appeared to be the same clothes as those worn by one of the offenders caught on video robbing the stores,” said Capt. Tim Marsh of the Eufaula Police Department.
“After reviewing the tape, it was the identical outfit worn by one of the robbers.”
Harris was spotted by an officer near a local convenience store.  According to the police report, Harris was watching two other officers who had pulled into the store’s parking lot. The reporting officer witnessed Harris throw an item on the ground behind the store, which turned out to be a black ski-mask.
“We think that catching this guy on Friday night prevented another robbery from occurring,” said Marsh.
Police also obtained a warrant to search Harris’ residence. Stephon Galloway, 18, of 314 New Fort Browder Street was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance after police found a plastic bag containing crack cocaine in the residence that Harris and Galloway shared.

If this is one of the robbers,I hope he understands the pain and suffering he has caused so many people. The only question I would like to ask him is WHY? For so little money would you risk losing his life as well as destroying so many others.I am also quite sure his mother would not be so proud of him, this seems like a wonderful Mothers Day gift for her!
