Burglary attempt is thwarted
A Level Acres family got a rude awakening Friday night when someone threw a BB gun through the front window of their home.
Capt. Tim Marsh of the Eufaula Police Department reported Monday that it appeared offenders threw the BB gun through the window to see if anyone was home.
“When the family didn’t respond out of fear, they probably assumed nobody was home,” he said.
The four male suspects then entered the house through the front door and attempted to steal a television. The offenders fled when they realized that the residence wasn’t empty.
