Kids World burglarized
The owner of KidsWorld reported a burglary Saturday morning after arriving at the day care to find the front office destroyed.
He also found that one of the classroom windows had been popped out. It is unknown if anything was taken at the time of the report.

Mother reports concerns
A Eufaula mother reported that she saw her ex-husband parked in the front of her house Friday night.
The victim states that her ex-husband was recently released from prison and that he was sent to prison for raping their daughter, who is under the age of 12.

Property thefts
A woman reported that she left her purse in the shopping cart outside Winn-Dixie Thursday. When she called to see if it had been found, no one had returned her purse.
Eufaula Water Works reported theft of a water meter ($200) that was removed for repairs and never returned.
A Eufaula resident reported that a red Ford Mustang passed him on the Clayton Highway Thursday night and then tried to force him off the road.
Police attempting to arrest an individual at the Q-Ball Friday night on warrant reported that the individual fled the police in his vehicle and escaped into Georgia.
Charges of escape, reckless endangerment, attempting to elude and reckless driving could soon be added to the list of charges against the individual.
Peddler Food Stores reported a gas drive-off Friday for $30.
An Old Dale Road resident reported theft of a dark gray handgun ($200) occurring Friday morning. A known suspect is listed in the case.
The new Quality Inn on East Barbour Street reported theft of four outdoor air conditioning units ($9,500) and an unknown amount of copper taken sometime between Thursday morning and Sunday afternoon.
They also reported some damage to sheet rock ($1,000) being used on the building.

Criminal mischief
HKC Vending reported that someone had driven a vehicle through the front gate of the facility on West Boundary Street Saturday night.

Traffic report
The Eufaula Police Department reported 49 traffic arrests between Thursday and Monday mornings, including 17 for no seat belts, 9 for speeding and no proof of insurance, 5 for no driver’s license, 3 for running a stop sign, 2 for driving while suspended and improper tag and 1 for DUI and failure to yield the right of way.
They also investigated five accidents during the reporting period.
