A dispute between the Barbour County Commission and the Barbour County Sheriff’s Office is not likely to be coming to a courtroom near you soon. According to a report in The Clayton Record, Sheriff LeRoy Upshaw recently threatened to sue the county commission if he needs more money to fuel the Sheriff’s Department fleet of cars and commissioners don’t provide the additional funds.
