Pastor B.J. Fore said that this is the first time they know of that the church has had a steeple.
The steeple itself has an interesting story behind it. It came to Eufaula all the way from Cross City, Fla., and more specifically, Central Baptist Church.
The steeple was originally installed on that church in 1978. Decades later, in 2007, the church started a building project to replace their steeple.
At the time, Fore was associate pastor of that church.            ]]></description>

Erick Poole, 45, of 1122 Baker Ct. in Columbus, Ga. and Alfonzo Walker, 41, of 909 Farr Road Apt. 15 in Columbus, Ga. 
Poole and Walker were both charged with first degree robbery in connection with a case that occurred on Dec. 1. A delivery worker to the Beeline store was reportedly robbed at gunpoint in that incident.
In a separate case, Desmond Marsh, 19, of 1304 Gammage Road in Eufaula was arrested on Friday and charged with robbery first degree.           ]]></description>
